This article provides step-by-step instructions for adding a new module to your existing Enfocus Switch system. The same instructions may also be used to update the maintenance license for your Enfocus Switch system. The process is straightforward - you will open the Switch license manager and import one or more HTML files that hold the product license and/or the Maintenance license for your copy of Enfocus Switch.

STEP 1) OBTAIN SWITCH LICENSE FILES

In order to complete this installation, you will need the following files:

1. Switch License Key and/or Maintenance Key (both HTML Files)
   
   If you purchased your copy of Enfocus Switch directly from Meadows, our team will have provided you with your Switch License and optional Maintenance keys. The license keys are HTML files that are typically delivered in a compressed ZIP folder archive. When you unzip the archive, open the folder and look for a sub-folder called Switch License Keys. Inside of this folder will be one or more HTML files. 
   
   
   
   
   

STEP 2) INSTALL LICENSE FILES

Next you should install your Product License and/or Maintenance files by following the instructions below.

1. Run Enfocus Switch and Open the Manage licenses Window
   Start up your copy of Enfocus Switch, then choose Help > Manage licenses... from under the main Switch menu.
   
   
   
   This will open the Manage licenses window. You will see a copy of your licenses listed in the left sidebar of the window. Click on any license and the window on the right will provide additional details, including the status of your current Maintenance, as shown below:
   
   
   
   
2. Import the License Files
   Click the Activate New... button and you will be taken to a window where you can add the HTML license files from STEP 1. You can drag and drop the HTML license files onto this window, or click the Browse... button to locate and select them.
   
   
3. Verify License Status
   After importing the license files, verify that they have activated properly. If you are simply updating your Switch Maintenance, verify that the maintenance period for your Switch software is now Active and has been extended for the new Maintenance period.
