What is the Not Optimized alert message when using Macintosh installers

If you are running Mac OS 10.13.4 or later and installing a legacy version of DesignMerge software, you may receive the following alert message:

"Installer Name" is not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated.

You are receiving this warning because some older Meadows installers for the Macintosh are 32-bit applications, and Apple wants all developers to move to 64-bit versions of their applications.

Please note that there is nothing wrong with the installers, and you can simply ignore this warning message when it is presented.

This message also pertains only to the actual software installer application, and does not have anything to do with the actual Meadows software product you are attempting to install.

We have released 64-bit versions of our installers for more current versions of the DesignMerge software, therefore you should not encounter this warning when running those installers. However, if you are installing a legacy version of DesignMerge software, please rest assured that all 32-bit apps (including our installers) are still totally compatible with all recent Mac OS versions.
