Xerox FreeFlow Print Server doesn't print PPML content correctly.

Xerox has informed us that there is a conflict in the new Monochrome Enhanced VI Caching feature in FreeFlow Print Server v6 and above which causes the FreeFlow Print Server to print PPML content incorrectly (does not print the correct content in the correct location). Here is the solution that Xerox recommends to avoid this conflict:

Workaround: Disable Monochrome Enhanced VI Caching

  1. Open a Terminal Window and su to root.
  2. Type: /opt/XRXnps/bin/setmonoenhancedVIcaching -f <Enter>
  3. Restart FFPS.

If required at a later date, to enable Monochrome Enhanced VI Caching:

  1. Open a Terminal Window and su to root.
  2. Type: /opt/XRXnps/bin/setmonoenhancedVIcaching -t <Enter>
  3. Restart FFPS.
